Tire Stacking Racks

Tire storage creates a unique set of challenges to both tire manufacturers as well as distributors and dealers. The first issue being space, tires are a bit bulky, take up a lot of floor space.  In addition to storage space. tires require special storage, because of the characteristics of the materials they are made from.  Environmental conditions and other factors can damage tire integrity even before the tires are used and need to be stored correctly. Below are just a few recommendations.

Recommendations For Proper Tire Storage

• Tires must be stored tension-free or compression-free, that means no heavy pressure or wedging the tires into tight spaces that may, over time, deform the tire shape.
• It is recommended that tires be stored vertically or horizontally to reduce possibility of deformation.
• Tires must be stored on pallets or heavy-duty racks that avoid direct contact with the ground and, consequently, with humidity.
• Tire storage must provide ventilated, and tires must not be exposed to direct sunlight or light fixtures with a high UV index.
• Under no circumstances should tires come in direct contact with solvents, fuels, lubricants, chemicals, or disinfectants.

Stacking Tire Racks:

These racks feature heavy duty steel posts and supports along with wire mesh decking. They are stackable and height and width dimensions are customizable to fit your needs. We also offer racks with removable posts to make storage layout easier to configure or change as your needs change. Our racks can accomodate car tires, truck and agricultural tires as well as high performamce racing tires.

Tire Pallet Frames:

These frames enable you to turn a wooden pellet into a tire rack quickly and inexpensively while making sure the tires are stored properly off the ground.
