Design to Manufacture Process

The success of a manufacturing company is the ability to develop a process that is both efficient and results in high quality that is repeatable. Matcon has devloped a unique process that enables our production facility to consistantly produce quality racks and containers on time while maintaining a high level of quality.

Step 1 – Conceptual / Quoting

If you need a design or solution a member of our sales team will discuss your needs and requirements via email, video call, or make an on-site visit.  From there, our design team will create a conceptual design.  Our live design session presents our proposed approach to creating your solution where we check for cost effectiveness and ease of manufacture.. Once it’s approved, we can move onto the quoting phase,  If you have an existing design we can review it and provide you a quote.

Step 2 - Prototype and Test

Our fabricators work closely with our design engineers to ensure that the product(s) is produced to the proper specifications. Modifications can be made before we move into full production.  We can also test fit physical parts into the design, if provided.

Step 3 - Production

Once the prototype is approved, we can build a full production run to accommodate your shipping needs.
